Towns of Okeechobee is a two phased multifamily development for low income families. It consists of ten residential buildings with 48 units. 100% of the units are set aside for families making 60% Area Median Income (AMI) with 12% set aside for those earning at or below 40% of AMI.
Both phases of the development will feature “green” design concepts, Energy Star rated appliances, ceiling fans and lighting fixtures, a clubhouse and a leasing office. Additionally, at no cost to the tenants, resident programs covering literacy training and financial management education will be provided on a regular basis.
